Hello there guys!
I was wondering how you guys tag your puppies when the customers pick them out? I am not having any luck with collars they chew them off each other. I have also tried nail polish, it doesnt last long enough. I was hoping maybe yall had some suggestions as to what u do?
Thanks very much!

Why not have the new owner purchase a "real" collar for the puppy and put that collar on the puppy when they select it? I am assuming the collars you put on them are the yarn/ribbon type?? There are "chew proof" collars out there for purchase. Lupine collars are "gauranteed even if chewed". http://lupinepet.com/guarantee

Well thanks for assuming but I did put " real" collars on them. Not just string or yarn. By the end of the day they were chewed off. I will check out the link for the collars though.

When we showed in the AKC conformation ring we bred a litter from our Champion male with a co owner on the bitch. We received the pick of the litter for stud fee. I was worried about my puppy pick being mistaken for another so we clipped a section of her coat on the back of her neck. Easy way to tell her apart from the other pups and the hair came back in fast. You could clip a small spot in a differant area on each pup that is spoken for, then record which pup belonged to who by the area their puppies coat was clipped.
Just a idea.....
