This shocked me - Page 1

Extremely painfull. Can't really figure out the animals: are they dogs, goats or sheep. Where on earth did it happened, in Homs-syria, yemen or where. They're a bunch of foolish soldiers confuse on how/where to espend their armoury. . . Heard a bunch of cowards laughing. May d God of Heaven laughf them too whenever they eat any meat in their meals.

What I understand it is a dog being blown by a ground implanted bomb, the soldiers look like American troops in Iraq. Anyway no matter where and who, it is cruel to let a dog be blown up in such a reckless manner and enjoy the scene. I feel ashamed of our humanity, no dog would do the same to a human fellow !!!

The armoured vehicle doesn't look american and the streets do not usually look deserted when the americans patrol. I also believe it to be a delibrate attack or a mine device set in-wait against protesters but was mistakingly activated when the stray or neighbourhood dog stepped on it. The soldiers would've been suprised and not laughed by the explosion if they hadn't planted it. Culpable cruelty to animals. Thanks Ib, for the post.

I guess when you see human beings being blown apart by these devices, you lose your humanity and compassion towards other creatures. Very sad...

Are you sure it's really what you think it is?
And is it so horrific if it is?
Would you like to see video of humans being blown apart, perhaps children.
I doubt there was much time for pain either.
Not trying to be an ass hole but some people shock too easily at the wrong thing.
Movies and video games are more graphic.
I even agree with sunsilver, we do it to ourselves and others everyday.

It has nothing to do with compassion, now try to comprehend the meaning of my post.
Do you believe the video is real?
If real do you think the animal survived or was killed instantly?

Does this shock you worst than the fact that humans including children are involved in similar explosions in war zones around the world with greater frequency.
Has anyone posted images of more shocking human deaths, or much worst the wounded survivors?

Do you know what pain is?
Have you seen the people including the children who are starving to death today as we speak?

What is worst, instant death or slow death?
Do you understand the nature of war?
Do you understand the nature of man?
Do you know what goes on in the world everyday?

I meant no offense towards Ibrahim, I only suggest this is not nearly as shocking, and there are many greater things to be shocked about in our world.
Man makes war on his fellow man, he kills his neighbor, man even kills his own blood, after the first thousand years it becomes less shocking does it not?

Oh yes, I have compassion.
What good does it do?

I'll tell you,
It brings me pain.

The most shocking thing to me is no one does anything about any of it and close their eyes to it.

The truth is  that I am shocked at the parents who let their kids buy these games on IPOD , XBOX and all those electrical game stuff and I went into my grandsons room after christmas and saw things blowing people to bits,,and the kids play these games that blow whole communities up, and they get POINTS for doing it..

Talk about where we have COME in social graces???  There are none...I was told the kids know, real from unreal

Go to the Movie house and look at what they show on BIG SCREENS they charge one days pay to watch with popcorn and a theater of cheering people when they blow humans, houses, and other things  to bits and pieces, blood guts and all, and they walk out arm in arm discussing how great it was to blow up   all those people..

AND we are shocked??

I quit turning on my tv most nights.. I watch now, recorded programs of my choice.

And the killing of people in their homes in Texas right now for reasons we cannot fathom and the sexual perverts being caught is even greater...WHY...WHERE...HOW.... no one does anything about it...I have written the tv stations but does it do any good

I understood, great post. We seem to have gotten to a place where we are so consumed about trying to be who we thought we were, to see who we have become.
