I have a puppy that I would like to show in the 9-12 month class. What are the requirements and what is the puppy required to do. Thanks

If you are talking about SV style shows I can help you out. For WDA, you do not have to be a member for local/regional shows. For puppy classes, you will need records of all of the puppy's shots (all sets of puppy shots and rabies) and proof of ownership, which is usually the AKC registration.
Puppy will have to know how to be stacked (and stand still!!) and how to gait with use of a double handler (more details on request). Since you the owner will likely not be the puppy's handler, the puppy must be used to being touched and having his legs moved and positioned by a stranger. The judge may check teeth, and testicles if male. There is much more detail on how to do all this but simply put, this is what will be required. It is recommended to have a show leash and collar, but not required, and the double handler (you) will want to have something that the puppy likes to get him to pull ahead when you call.
