Not to be critical since I am a show line breeder, unlike the working line people that every second take a swing at us and our dogs, working lines are just bred for drives and nothing else matters. If this is the case with you ,then I guess is a great pedigree. Otherwise, for starters all the dogs you are line breeding or thinking of , all of their ZW are in the 90's , the mother Kita looks like was not titled-no ZW and her dad is 90, which means hip problems are very likely. I tried to breed or buy dogs with no inbreeding,when ever possible, but if they are, then I look first at their ZW , then their temperament , then their character , then conformation . Temperament, Character, courage , health and structure are all very important in breeding. This breeding may have some hip issues, may not.....but very strong dogs in the work with good aggression I would think. Not over the top drives at all, but certainly plenty enough for these dogs to go anywhere. I don't tend to want to linebreed on the Herkulesblick lines, but I LOVE to see them in a pedigree.

Gustave- just curious why you would not linebreed on the Herkulesblick lines, despite liking to see them in a pedigree.

Not intending to stray much, but I've engaged in a few different threads over the years why I believe the HD-Zuchtwerte is a faulty system, subject to gross manipulation and misinterpretation.  And, until it produces positive results (which it never will), I'm amazed at the level of importance that's placed on it.

The ZW on the dog will never go down. He could produce 100 progeny with perfect hips. This is because he is here in the U.S. The progeny here are not counted in the ZW percentage over in Germany. So if you are going to use this dog, then you need to look at the progeny here as well. Find out info. on those that have had their hips done and what the scores were. That way get the entire picture.
