I am sorry this happened to you but you paid $200 for the pair and they were extremely underweight and had ear infections.  Did you not see that at the gas station?   

Regardless of reasonable price, dogs should be healthy, but you should take some if not all responsibility when you buy 2 dogs for $200 ...for that price, you shouldn't even ask for papers....reality is,most people, like you probably, don't believe they should be paying for dogs and so you encouraged people that breed poor quality dogs and puppy mills to keep operating,because you rather not pay than buying quality. EVERYDAY, people call me " ohh I don't want a champion,I don't care about showing, i just want a dog for the family" meaning, don't want to pay, BUT OF COURSE, want perfect hips, perfect temperament. TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY, 2 adult dogs are not going to cost you 200, and if you meet someone at a gas station OBVIOUSLY LIKE YOU SAID IS A RED FLAG, but guess what, you couldn't pass up the price.

Hmmm where to start. You are correct she did set the price but REALLY what did you think you were going to get for $200.00? What ever happened to "NO I dont want the dogs" My question to you is.... what were YOU planning on doing with these dogs? If they were just pets and you felt bad for them, why come to a Natl board and complain about not getting papers.

Hmmmm. I'm wondering who the seller was. Many years ago I sold 2 very nice female pups to a guy who lived in citra. He died tragically and his girlfriend wound up with his dogs. One of the pups was a troll vom haus milinda daughter and the other was out of a 2x lga dog fels von der schopf. I went there a cple times. He trained with a dobermann club that was located there. To bad you didn't get the pedigree. I would have liked to seen it. Kurt

Then why are you complaining  about the $200.  I am not saying the breeder is right or wrong as I don't know the breeder and I have not seen the dogs.  However, you paid $200 for 2 dogs and you took them to the vet.  You are taking care of them now so you shouyld be proud to have helped these animals.  I understand if you are upset,  but a kennel warning???
I really do not think that most people on here would purchase a dog for $200 and demand AKC papers. 
If these dogs were in bad shape you should be happy that you helped them.  If you are looking to breed I am sure you can find a nice female at the same place you found your male.

Also I will from NOW ON TAKE MY "OWN" ADVICE I WILL NOT "JUDGE" ANYONE BASED ON SECONDHAND OPINIONS" EVEN IF I DO GET RIPPED OFF I KNOW I HAVE A REAL REASON TO DISLIKE PEOPLE! I AM NOT A MEAN PERSON NOR WILL I EVER BE AS NASTY AND RUDE AS SOME! I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt even if they don't deserve it! I was raised better than this drama crap and I am retracting my earlier statements whatever trouble comes upon this kennel my hand won't be in it we worked out our differences my dogs papers are in the mail and i am not worried about anyone else problems but my own. SO GOOD LUCK IN WHATEVER LAW SUIT OR DRAMA YOU FISH UP JUST LEAVE ME OUT OF IT! My husband and I are only worried about OUR dogs which we now only have one shepherd which is ISADORA and will not buy from ANY FL BREEDERS IN OUR AREA B/C NOONE HAS ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT ANYONE ITS TO COMPETIVE AND RIDICULOUS! I have had one terrible paper experience and I was told to stay away from her BUT being the nice person I AM I didnt listen and it doesnt matter b/c in the end Did I really make any friends??? Probably not BUT I dont give a rats behind b/c ANYONE who will talk bad things behind anothers back is not a friend to begin with!
