The area I live in is placing a 5 cent tax on every plastic or paper grocery bag used to package items at a store soon. This is supposed to help reduce trash in waterways .... funny enough minimal amount of the money received from this tax is actually going towards environment intiatives most is going to 'administrative fees'.
So .. I am looking to see if anyone knows of an organization that currently sells these to help raise money. Ideally I'd like to purchase them from a Search and Rescue group or potentially a rescue organization. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Taxes in my area have gone up way to much as it is and the government needs to learn to live within its current means so I am hoping most residents will not contribute to this tax.

On this website: http://www.cafepress.com/agsdr about halfway down, you can purchase a cloth grocery tote bag or a nylon messenger bag that helps benefit Austin German Shepherd Rescue, the rescue I volunteer with. Texas has a huge problem with too many purebred German Shepherds in shelters and Austin GSD Rescue is active in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing these dogs.
