A dog named BOLT - Page 1

He is up for adoption at San Diego Humane Society to a forever home;  has been there for a year, is a beautiful black/red boy about 3 years old,  although his teeth look like he's about l-2 and he sits like a silly puppy.  He is sweet, I watched the video's on him getting a bath, getting blown dry with big grooming dryer, very ball crazy, tries to get 2 tennis balls in his mouth at one time;  really a nice, nice boy,  any takers?  I will try to get more information;  by the way he has a beaituful long coat also.  San Diego Humane Society has 3 locations, 2 in San Diego, and 1 in Oceanside.  Thx   Nan

His info says NO CATS.  Would love to be the only dog, don't know if that is mandatory or what.  Nan

Nans, I don't know about anyone else, but for myself, I don't know anything about this poor dog...I'm nowhere near San Diego, for starters.  He does sound like a very nice fellow, and I hope someone DOES see his qualities shining through...but there's nothing I can do for him save donate to the GSD Rescue group out there, and hope they'll be able to pull him if he's in danger. I wish I could take them all, as you probably do as well, but we can't all be Krazy Bout K9s Steph...

Thanks Hexe;  I e-mailed SD Shelter to find out more about him.  Why hasen't local rescue picked him up?  I know there are some health issues but unless it is totally unmanagable makes me wonder what the hell is going on here.  Maybe they tried to keep him for their maskot or something and it did not work out??  The nice thing about SD Humane Society is they have a full time vet on duty;  maybe they help him with his health management??  Don't know for sure but will post when I know and have more into.  Thx  again,  Nan

PS:  Maybe it is from a local breeder and it is a hush, hush situation also.
