I am getting over 600lbs of Venison. I'm wanting to switch a dog I have who has Mega E and I'm positive he needs ground... I'm now on the search for a Grinder that I can use in home that can handle Venison Meat and Bones. (We also feed pork, cow, rabbit, chicken, turkey, and quail but this year coming up my bulk is Venison. Much appreciated.

As a side note, I want to know how early (age wise) with pups do you start feeding them raw?

I have a grinder from Cabelas - it is a 1 3/4 hp model.  If and when I buy a new one it will be from Pleasant Hill Grain.  They are pricey but I love the products they sell.

My dog was on raw at 4 weeks, including whole (3 part) chicken wings.  He has never been fed any kibble or processed dog food.

That's about when I started my puppies. Graduated to drumsticks and thighs until I had one swallowing them whole. (Think snake)
I have pics of 6 week old puppies chasing each other around the yard with a rabbit spine. LOL
