Oh, come on!!!! Vandy/UT - Page 1

Do we have any Vandy or UT fans on this board?  I'm a big time Vandy fan, and this is the fourth "almost" game we have had this year (The other three were against very, very good teams).  Vandy would have beaten Georgia if Smith (Who I'm so glad Coach Franklin no longer plays as Quarter Back) had not thrown it from a 1st and goal at the 2.....to three GA players in the endzone.  We could have had a field goal there (or possibly a touchdown).....and a field goal at the end of the game after we blocked their punt.......Assuming our field goal kicker would have made them.  Those 6 points would have won that game.  Stupid mistakes caused us to barely lose against Arkansas,  Florida, and now the Vols.  Tonights game,  we had a long touchdown pass in the game......but a silly penalty by one of our guys after the pass was already thrown.....which caused us to not get the touchdown.   And our field goal kicker missed two field goals as well.  That's 13 points Vandy should have had which would have made it where we wouldn't have to go into overtime.  Hopefully next year Vandy has a new field goal kicker, and learns from their other mistakes as well.
