2 months = 9+ weeks ==> 14-21 lbs
by MVF on 24 November 2011 - 06:11
4 months = 17+ weeks => half the male's final weight (female hit half her final weight at around 16 weeks).
==> 30 lbs (small female) - 48 lbs (very large male).

The charts are just a guide. My pup was around 6kgs at 8 weeks and that was at the lower end of the chart. He is now 14 months and weighs 39kgs. The vet has suggested that I put a bit more weight on him; around 3kgs, as he needs to fill out. I explained to the vet that I had kept him lean so as not to put too much pressure on his bones. The charts suggest that he should weigh 34kgs at 12 months. Hence, don't read too much into it.
From what I have read, the best way to gage a pups final size is to see both his or her parents. Like any other animals, pups grow at different rates.
