Dwarfism in German shepards, Saarlooswolfdog, Tsjechoslowakian wolfdog, White shepard and Karelian Beardog.
Dwarfism is a serious and life treathening disorder. about 20% of the above breeds are cariers ! Dwarfs may look cute, but the dogs are VERY SICK ! 90% of the puppy dwarfs die in the first week. Most of the other 10% dwarfs hardly reacht 4 years.
main reasons of death: Thyroid problems, kidney failior(and other organs), heart failior, and just discovered: neurological problems due to underdeveloppement of the neckbones.
