My GSD bitch is two, so I need to go ahead and have her films done and sent off.
She's recently been in heat [as in, last week], and I'm curious how much time I should wait before having the films done.

I would give a little longer at least 2-3 months

I guess I'll just keep swimming her to firm everything up, and wait a month or two.

I believe there are recomendations on the OFA website. I would look there first and treat their guidelines as a minimum.

The best score that I have ever had on a female was 0/1 It was before I knew better than to x-ray while on heat Too bad she developed a Pyometra on her next heat and had to be spayed at 18 months.
