I am trying to locate organizations that are seeking dogs for special needs people, with illnesses, or other disabilities where particular talent is required.
Dogs as healers. . .

try karen4paws@aol.com she has a great place that trains service dogs for kids. Also go on line and look for Rin Tin Tin site who also trains dogs for kids, It's Ms Hereford who has the site. Anja

I know in MI Paws will not work with GSD, but Leader Dogs will.

karen at 4 paws is awesome!!!! definately contact her... she will talk you right through it.. my friends have 5 dogs they have donated through the years...
