Hi! I have been breeding for over 30 years, I have seen tehm all, American German show and Working lines puppies, Puppies do tend to go through UGLY UGLY rear stages, some lines more than otehrr, mone of my males Gino is very hard hard producing Super Strong rears even throught the uglies and his brother Wasko also is very hard in this, but otehr males that i have sometimes do produce these weakness, but they do not bother me at all, for i see them outgrowing this stage after maturity. When i was in Germany I saw many many georgous puppies from diferent lines and all with teh same stage of weakness in teh rears they looked like rabbits with all the angulations, but as long as he is using each leg separately when galloping and he is not doing the bunny hoping with both legs when galoping I wouldnt be scared, I woudl let them grow, i would never raise them in a crate, tehy need the most natural excercise they can get, i use Peak Grow very much and it has been very succesful for me. Check on his muscle development on his thights too, this is something i do look for eventho they are weak, this means he will outgrow it, I do not like the empty gaskin nor flat thight, I want thosde to feel filled. So check these things on teh baaby and let him grow!!! Good luck!!!
