Hi Beetree
Ice on the water buckets this morning. Changed the oil in the snowblower yesterday, and fired her up. The forecast for our area for November is,above normal temperature, and dryer than normal. My old bones dont like the winter anymore.

I'm not ready for this. There are too many leaves left on the trees so they are predicting outages. LONG ones. After the hurricane episode this past summer, I know I don't want to go through that. AGAIN. This will be so much worse if that happens. It will be cold!
I'm also supposed to be going to swim meets, driving in the wrong direction to get there, tomorrow. The snow tires are not on the vehicles.
I'll make the kids put the outdoor furniture away when they get home from school. Bring up some firewood, just in case...
I can't believe this is happening. I'm doing all the laundry and a vaccuuming so it won't be a bigger mess, if I lose power. But you know, if you are saying prayers for me any way, see if you can put a good word into the Big Guy, not to have me lose power.
Thanks!
