Since becoming a Jesus believing Christian,my family and I have never celebrated,or participated in Halloween. My Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. To me,a christian participating in Halloween is like spitting in Christ face..

Ruger1, I have Jack Sparrow's hat and dreadlocks from Halloween's past, LOL This year the little guy wants to be a MAD scientist! The older one, has his own ideas. Some video game character that I have no clue about. I already told him he has to make his own costume.

We don't celebrate Halloween no matter what and especially our respectful Senior Bishop who is in Charge of our community of all Churches in Washington, Oregon and California, said - it's a Satan's holiday.

I bought these great looking cat eyes that go in the windows, you shine a light from the back, and it looks like a GIANT CAT is looking out the house windows! I think they will just look great!

As a Christian if your conscious is weak with regard to participating in a cultural tradition of pumpkins , party, and costume then by all means don't participate. But don't require every Christian/person to take that position.....
There is a very small group IMO of people who actually celebrate Halloween in the satanic tradition for which you are concerned. The scripture is clear about having freedom in the area of conscience....

As a true deciple of Jesus,let us bravely tread upon the tempter.
Not only inferior spirits,but the prince of darkness himself must go down before us. In unguestioning confidence in God,let us look for a speedy victory. What a dishonor to Satan to have his head bruised by human feet. Let us by faith in Jesus tred the Tempter down.
