I was watching NBC sports tonight and started wondering, is Tony Dungy a Volcan?

Tony Dungy was and is one of the greatest football coaches ever. He is also a very respected humanitarian. The world could use a lot more people like him.

I am not sure I understand what is a VOLCAN?
He is one of the most respected football players/coadhes, /men in christian circles and is well respected in all of his lifes experiences
He was born in the USA so he is not born in VOLCAN, a village across the ocean.
HE is not a volcano so what is a VOLCAN?

YR, she means Vulcan, a planet in a galaxy far, far away, from the TV show, Star Trek. You know-- with Captain Kirk, the Starship Enterprise, and Spock, the rational, logical and emotionless humanoid with pointy ears.

Thanks BT: my son just told me it is science Fiction go look up Star Trek.,I had googled the other spelling and for the life of me didn't firgure it out.
I never watched star strek or any of the series.
