I WANT TO PREVENT TOPSHEPHERGSD FROM SCAMMING AND STEELING YOUR MONEY. THIS PERSON NAMED FRANCESCO CAROTENUTO ADVERTISED BEFORE UNDER DDRPROGSD, SOLD ME A BICOLOR FEMALE THAT WAS DYSPLASTIC. HE TOLD ME THAT SHE WAS XRAYED AT 15 MONTHS AND HAD EXCELLENT HIPS AND ELBOWS AND GOOD FOR BREEDING. WHEN I ASKED HIM TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE, HIS RESPONSE WAS THAT LEGALLY HE DOES NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING BUT HE WILL TRY TO DO SOMETHING. IT HAS BEEN AT LEAST 6 MONTHS AND HAS DONE NOTHING. BE CAREFULL EVERYONE. I HAVE THE EMAILS SAVED AND MY FRIEND WHO WAS ALSO INTERESTED IN BUYING THAT FEMALE HAD THE EMAILS SAVED , WE CAN SHARE THAT WITH ANY PERSON. MY EMAIL IS FSALMAN525@AOL.COM

And yet another good lesson as to why it's often better to pay a little more money for a truly nice dog from an honest person.

Can I ask what the purchase price of the female was and if you received any kind of guarantee? Do you have contract you could try to enforce?

HI JENNI78, NO CONTRACT BECAUSE I TRUSTED THIS PERSON, HIS WEBSITE IS K9 NATION 1.COM I PAID $2000.00. I STRESSED TO HIM THAT I WANT THE FEMALE FOR BREEDING AND I WILL BE DOING OFA. AFTER THE SALE HE WAS DIFFERENT AND WAS PLAYING GAMES AND WAS SUGGESTING TO GO AHEAD AND BREED THE FEMALE, BECAUSE DYSPLASIA IS COMMON IN THE SHEPHERDS ANYWAY. THIS PERSON CAN NOT BE TRUSTED

That's too bad that you don't have any recourse w/no contract. Did you see the xrays that were taken at 15mos. or do you think that was an outright lie?

Sorry for your bad experience. Place the dog in a non-breeding home and chalk it up to a lesson learned, I guess. If the seller deliberately lied, you could file a report on ripoffreport.com. That way, it would show up when someone did a search on his name or kennel.

????????? Why would you "take someone's word for it" with regards to the gal having her X-rays done. Did you buy this dog online? I just don't get these posts. This board in inundated with posts from people who get ripped off and yet all the suggestions given I guess blow in wind.

GRRRRRRRRR. GD people who go into it intending to breed before they even get a dog.... I hope this keeps you out of the dang breed. The dogs will be better off without you.
