Strictly on one subject - Problems with the Long Bite (courage test) for IPO.
October 22nd and 23rd in Plant City, Florida
For Dogs that :
Don't jump/lunge ; Come off the sleeve ; Slow down before the leap ; Coming too fast / too slow ; Poor Targeting ;
Requierments to participate: All Breeds, All Ages, Dogs must be in Good health ( if there is a health issue that limits the dogs ability, this workshop is NOT for you!)
There will be no obstacles to jump over, no bungee lines to pull, I will show you a very different approach that works and is easy to work with your own helper(s) when you get home, regardless of their ( helpers) physical abilities and understanding of protection training.
IMO for sure the safest way for dog and helper to teach and practice long bites!
Workshop is limited to 15 dogs, No spectators for this workshop.

Sad when you wish your dog had a problem with the long bite, so you could attend. Guess you could always lie and act like Ivan is Midas when the dog barrels him over on the first bite.

Ivan, very good idea, for a workshop, hope people can bring
some good dogs as well....The long bite is the big denominator IMO.
Also I hope you give feedback. It is much needed after the
FCI world championships. Would like to see you return .....
Thanks so much... Max

Ivan, once again I would like say it is a wonderful jesture on your part to
do a workshop like this for free. It is much neeed and I can think of
no one better to do it than you. A World Champion and a good teacher as well.
I hope this is a trend to bring people together. A great horse trainer by the name
of Ray hunt years ago started giving clinics to people. And when asked why he did it,
he said.." I do this for the horse"....Hope you become a Ray Hunt in dogs.
Good Luck and Best Regards Max.
Here is a more printable sign for your workshop...
