Hey guys I have a few questions. Where can I find out what all is involved in the BH routine, and....... could a Husky trial for it? And how old would they have to be? It won't be now since he's 17 weeks old, but Little Dude (Osiris) is doing so well already, that I'd love to go for a BH title with him if that breed is even allowed when he is finally ready and old enough. Huskies are always called the stupid breed, stubborn breed, or untrainable...... him and even my others could easily show people that they are in fact, very trainable with the right handler who understands them. Any ideas?

The BH is not a title, it's a temperament test and a prerequisite to SchH work as well as tracking, herding and/or agility.

DudeRino.... If you can't offer advice, why comment? I know it's not a "title" for say. However, I am not competing in Schutzhund.....with a Siberian Husky. I just wanted to see what all was involved in doing this and if a Husky could trial for it. I do intend to take up tracking with my Husky as well, the few times we've tracked he has done well. He would not be able to do protection though, none of mine could.

What are you going to cry yourself to sleep on your huge pillow? You asked a question and I offered information that apparently you didn't know or you wouldn't have phrased it that way. Do you have a problem with someone trying to educate you? Was it always this way when you were growing up? Do you think that students in Professor Kingsfield's class on contract law were able to question his knowledge and the method in which he taught his class? Here's a quote from John Houseman's epic character in The Paper Chase, (substitute GSDguy08 for Mister Hart and dog handler for lawyer) "Mister Hart, here is a dime. Take it, call your mother, and tell her there is serious doubt about you ever becoming a lawyer
". Baby.
