I decided to do some big bragging :)
My oldest male, Jake recently turned 10 years old.
Here's some recently taken photos.

and now

and just a little extra to make it bonafide :D

So far he's doing very good. He is healthy and still acts like a puppy. He has no idea how to behave like an old dog, he just wants to be a puppy.

Jake was my very first training dog that help me to get experience training in schutzhund obedience. We eventually got our first BH together.
Thank you lovejags.

He sure is a handsome feller. These photos are much better than his stacked photo listed with his pedigree. I think you need to take a new stacked photo and replace the one. He is very handsome and should be showed to his fullest.
Happy Birthday 'ol man...and many many more to come.

He looks great!
I have to ask, what have you fed him throughout his life, what supplements, how much daily exercise, which vaccinations and how often and do you happen to know how long his dire and dam lived?
There is always so much debate on what is best, I'm not trying to change the subject, he looks to be in tip top shape and I'd just love to know.

BRANDI, I TINK HIS STACKED PHOTO SHOWS VERY WELL WHAT HE HAS GOING FOR HIM. VERY GOOD TOPLINE, GOOD EXPRESSION OF CHEST AND FRONT END, GREAT SHOULDER, LOVELY ESPRESSION, BEAUTIFUL TAILSET. HE LOOKS VERY GOOD, VERY CORRECT, TO ME. HE IS A BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN OF OUR BREED. (JMO)

SitasMom, I wasn't well educated on proper canine foods when I got Jake as an 8 week old pup. It's amazing how you learn so much as the years go by. I could remember feeding Jake terrible foods from big companies like Nutro Max, Pedigree and Eukanuba. I then switched him and the rest of my dogs over to more a approperiate foods like orijen. I had to change foods because a couple of years ago during a winter season I was having an extremely diffcult time getting a bag of food, even ordering it from online seemed nearly impossible. Every distributor that I talked with said that the company was having a diffcult time with getting the products over to the states because of the rough winter that they were having. Nothing wrong with the foods... I just need to have an unlimited amount of access to the food, even in winter. I am currently feeding my dogs taste of the wild Pacific Stream dog food. I eventually want to switch over to the RAW diet. I just need more education. For a while I was giving him an additional supplement, Vertex.
I'm not much of a big fan of routine vaccinations. I only do rabies (Only because I have to by law) every 3 years, and that is it.
I currently have zero connections to the owners of the parents of Jake so I don't know if they're currently alive or deceased.
I don't exercise him as much as I use to. I do throw him some kongs now and then but that is about it. He does have a backyard to run.
lovejags, Thank you for the compliments, and the critique on Jakes anatomy. Jake could have a more pronounced head, and could be a bit more masculine. Since I got him as a pet I don't expect much from him.
