looking for local club willing to let a newbie come and observe, possibly train with. Have 2 great dogs-
I'm in the triangle area, specifically Clayton, NC.
Very dedicated to the breed & sport. Been "involved"
in SchH for about 2 1/2 years. Miss being in a good group and would love to get back to training a few times a week without having to drive hours considering gas prices.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks!

Ho ColehausGSD
Really feel for you, its a drag having to drive long distances for a club. We I`m in UK so no use to you, but for a different reason started up our own little club. Could you not do that? - start off with a small select group of like minded friends, and give it a radius that is easy to cope with distance wise, from little acorns, big oak trees grow.... good luck Mo Lakin Mascani GSD

Hi Penny
Thanks for the reply and that is a really good idea. I've thought about doing that. I have a large farm that would be perfect for a SchH field and many beautiful acres to track. Now to find a good helper-
I'm only 4'11" 100lbs so it would be hard for me to catch the dogs:)

I think the closest clubs to you would be the Fayeteville club or the Traingle sch. Club in Angier. i train at the raleigh club but our field is in Bahama NC. about 20 min. north of durham. go the the USA site and look at the clubs in the southeast region

Thanks- I have trained with Clarence Leflore at Walltop and Dennis Johnson at his place. Where exactly is your club located in Bahama? How often do y'all train? Is Fayetteville the club that hosted the SE Regionals? I think I met you there.

we typically train thursdays and saturday's. There is a club 2 miles down the road from Dennis Johnson. The fayeteville club did host the SE regionals

I thought that there was a club down the road from Dennis'. Whom may I contact about location, etc.? Didn't see anything on usa site about contacts.
Thanks so much for your help
