It means all the racism, baiting, profanities and gay bashing has been moved to the mod forum, so the other mods can follow what happened. Had I just deleted them then there would be no path to follow. Plus it helps to show the other mods why I did what I did.

You didn't miss much brynjulf...lol. oh & that dobermann wasn't indio. His name was arko & I trained with his owner for a little while. He lived in central florida. I heard he moved to alabama. He was a nice doberman. Rick tussing of royal palm kennels also found him another nice male in hungary that wa pretty good. There was a few doberman people around central fla but these two males were the only ones I cared for. You couldn't give me the other ones I seen...lol. I'm sure these dogs have passed away by now. I will never forget arko and thoose teeth....lol. it was a sight to behold. Hell I remember the dogs name but not the owners...lol. kurt. Rick tussing is still around there though. I looked at his website. He used to import a few dogs for the police there. Rick had a nice giant schnauzer that I liked a lot. You don't see them much but he had a couple nice ones. Kurt

The reason I have heard from Police trainers is that while there are Dobis who can work the streets those same dogs would have trouble being untrained to be street safe as pets after retirement.  Thus any who passed police/army training would most likely have to be put down after they weren't able to perform their job.  Shepherds on the other hand seem to be able to be de-programmed.

Interesting aspect, windwalker! That would explain some of the behaviours of Dobermanns I have encountered.
It seemed like Dobermanns have been "washed out" (to stay with the "wash and wear" from the 2. poster) the German police force within the early 1980's. It was around the same time that cropping and docking was made illegal in Germany (1984/85). I always wondered if  this change in legislation had something to do with the decline in Dobermann breeders in Germany around that time. I suspect that people went to other countries to buy cropped and docked Dobermanns, where there was more emphasis on show and less on working ability. Hence the breeding stock of Dobermanns (and probably other working dogs that previously have been cropped/docked e.g. Rottweiler) shifted from mainly working to showlines (which at that time just started to split).
But that's just my theory....
