The last time my bitch came into heat, her vulva was quite swollen for about a week before the first blood. My guess is that she will start bleeding soon. And giving her eggs and milk is not going to bring on the heat any sooner.

Silent heat, split heat or infection??? Have you had her checked out?

All dogs are different, some do not bleed as much, some keep themselves clean. DO not give raw eggs, ever. Sometimes colder weather can delay, so can extreme heat, or poor diet, stress can do it too. Put her on bitch pills, then let your male tell you when she is coming into heat, he will know first. MAy be little or no bloody show, may need blood work to determine optimum time to breed, or estrus strip.

Please make sure, since she gave birth to a litter only 7 months ago, that she's in excellent physical and health condition before you re-breed her. Some bitches especially when they give birth to a big size litter need to skip one or two heats before re-mating them especially if you see signs of loosing weight or less usual energy.
