Has anyone had experience sending a dog/puppy to Mexico. I have a customer who cannot find out were he needs to apply in Mexico to get a permit for importing a puppy. Thanks in advance.

He needs to contact his local government office and they will give him the forms and charge him a fee. I sent a pup to Mexico almost 5 years ago and you(the breeder) will have to sign a form stating pups purity of pedigree, pup must have a tattoo or microchip, and DNA verification will be required before any registration will be allowed. Good Luck

The airports also typically have the number to the consulate that can give you specifics on what they require for any dogs being brought into the country.
Typically it may include DNA, an international health certification from the Dept of Agriculture, microchip and/or tattoo that is legible and certain vaccines given within a certain window of time.
I know some countries are kind of particular about any vaccine over a year and in some cases requiring the vaccine be given within a year (i.e. rabies)
