Leerburg sells one similar to it; They call it a "dominant dog collar" and give it for "free" when you buy a quick release prong collar.
I have seen people use it, in conjunction with the pinch, to give a more severe correction.
I personally don't use it, just put the one I got for free in the drawer where I keep dog junk, that I might give to anyone for free

The purpose of the dominant dog collar used in conjunction with the pinch collar isn't to make the correction more severe.
It's so that there is a second collar on the dog if the prong comes apart [which often happens when it's most inconvenient].
The design of the dominant dog collar allows it to ride up high on the neck, without being so wide that it interferes with the prong. It should be completely benign and not engaging the dog at all, unless the prong comes apart.

Thanks for the replies...I do actually have a dominance collar that I use in conjunction with my prong for safety. My prong has actually come off once in training and my dominance collar was not on....imagine that! Now I use both. The dominance collar was actually designed for aggressive dogs to cut off their air supply when you lift them up off their front feet in correction. I do not use it this way, I only use it as a backup in case my prong comes off.
This pull off line feels different. It is not soft like the dominance collar. It is a hard plastic. I suppose it too could be used as a dominance collar? I can see it as a corrective device. I will put it away too....my girl definitely doesn't need it!
Thanks :)
