Zambo and Erin will be joined at the World Universal Sieger event in Austria, by the second place team of Sit vom Holtkamper Hof. I thought you can only represent at the world sieger championship when you have a minimum points of 270, not 232 and 75 in protection. Did they lower the qualifying requirements? I have nothing against this dog, I just want to know why should we have a dog that scored that low represent us the USA in Austria, don't we have better dogs? By the way I don't claim to have one.

Well, the rules say "a minimum of three dog and handler teams". Maybe there will be another qualifying event? If so, I hope that it is better promoted with a better turnout. NUSC was disappointing in entries as a National event.

The problem is that the event was announced very late by BOTH organizations. Each had only three entries and basically, with the combined teams from both championships, the US. is not represented by a full 6 count team.

IMO Only, I would think if one had a dog that had the qualifications to be entered, and you knew there was going to be a trial, you would still try and have the dog ready for the trial, so it could qualify with decent scores. Just my Opinion...Lida
