No this is definitely a long coat. This is the kind of variation I think we can expect as they have approved long coats now. Ugh. Very sad.

No, it's a somewhat Roman-nosed, *very* longhaired German Shepherd female, shot from an angle that accentuates both the coat (intentional) and the Roman nose (probably NOT intentional).

He must have the market on this " look" cause I saw 2 other ads for dogs for sale--a male and a female--and they all looked the same--to me--ugly--and that's all I'm going to say.

The angle of the picture is terrible.....no one should take a picture of any dog from the ground upward.
Also, besides being a long stock coat...the dog does not have enough "stop".
It has a longer, more narrow muzzle......some bloodlines have this particular type of head.
It's in both WL & SL.
Apoll Laacher Haus (SL) produced this trait in many of his offspring....although Apoll also produced a pretty good temperament in many.....
Many American bloodlines have a "Roman Type" nose (from what I've seen)...and a longer, more narrow muzzle.....so it's not as uncommon as many would think.
*This is not a desirable look for me (personally).....but again...it's not uncommon.*
Terrible picture angle period...for any dog.

It is not the best looking dog I have seen. You see some fabulous examples of LCs who are stunning to look at, just that this isn't one of them.
Even more peculiar, I have never heard of a dog having exactly the same name as it's mother, how can that possibly be?

Nothing wrong with a dog with a LSC. I have a beautiful one myself.
As for dogs with ugly conformation, they are everywhere in every colour and coat variation.

but the dog has amazingly strong grips and ball drive like you have never seen. Hits like a truck. Great working dog, title not needed i could see it by looking at the picture.
