Nice article about an artist who painted a portrait of a military dog lost in the war:

ggturner, your post is touching and shows that everybody has something to offer. I'm always particularly thoughtful of service men/women in the battlefield. If u had seen the nussle of a gun(not beautifully crafted ". 38 semi- automatic magnum") but a rugged AK-47 pointing or always searching for you in real battle, not to talk of other dangers lurking around, you know what i mean. They're giving their lives for others.

Thanks. I am very appreciative of our military men and women. My husband is an Army veteran (82nd Airborne Rangers and 101st Screaming Eagles).
