A Stud for my Bitch - Page 1

Hi, I would like some help from all of you please? I will be breeding my bitch Madie Foxy Von Wenger with one of these Stud dogs. Could you please tell me wich one will be better for my bitch between 1. Maffay Von Der Roten Matter, 2. Crouzman Vom Hubbard, 3. Zigo Vom Elzmundungsraum, and the last one 4. Ghandi Von Der Dunieschenke? I am traing to get the best pedigree for my bitch. I will apreciate your guys help. Should have my bitch results from the OFA by this week.

Thank You Brandy. I seen there Pedigree and I like Maffay and Crouzman. I have seen Maffay in person and just whent today and seen Crouzman, and he is very nice. Call the OFA and my results are not back yet! Will not do anything until I get the results from OFA.

Are Maffay and Crouzman not titled or are there titles just not listed here? Either way, I  don't like the linebreeding with your bitch to those two males. If you like it, go for it. Crouzman is OFA good hips but no elbow rating with OFA on file at this time.

I checked the ZWs on Zigo and Ghandi and it's a no-brainer. If these are your only four options, go with Ghandi.

i guess maffy is tittled and Maffy,Zigo,Ghandi are A stamp. well depend on what you are wanting to produce and each person will have ther own oppion on what they like.  i like maffy and Crouzman , by pedigree, and then when i look at the ZW number you have Zigo-103 , Crouzman -72 ( going by parents ZW ), Maffy-84 , and Chandi-85. well i would not use Zigo , i dont like that high of a ZW.

what i would do is have a look at what the studs are producing and go by that, that is what you will kinda have an idea on what you will get. i would go with a sch tittled stud atleast he has been proven. Maffy has a nice pedigree , but with your girl i feel you are going to get pets not strong working types. i do feel that vonIsengard is right about getting your  best  chance of  maybe a few working types  with Ghandi.

so i guess you have to decide are you looking for working types or more family types.

remeber this is only a guess and you could get a few working types out of Maffy.

with out seeing these dogs we are only guessing...

Ghandi just had 9 pups with my Ilbo daughter (V Uschi von Salerno, SchH1, KKL1). Pups are really nice big bone, good pigment.  We'll have some pictures of the pups up on the site www.vonsalerno.com soon.  You can see what he is producing. 

Is that why you are wanting to breed your bitch with the following choices of males? Just for the pedigree apperence? What do you actually see in these males, other than the pedigree, that you like so much? Did you actually take a look at them your self?

All I got was "I am traing to get the best pedigree for my bitch." from you, and it doesn't say anything other then to produce more "pedigreed apperence" puppies.

Why don't you explain the personality of your bitch, and what you like and dislike about her, and more importently what you want to improve as a result of breeding her to these males? I would also calulate the hip ratings too. Breed to the dog with LOW ZW number.
