Can someone save this poor gal? - Page 1

Saw this crossposted on Facebook.... poor girl as such an amazing and sad story, and even after suffering all of that, she's not safe yet. :(



"You may have seen this dog on the 5am list email, but not paid much attention because she is just another black dog. Here is the rest of her story as told to me by one of the nicest shelter workers who is desperate to get her out! This dog survived against all odds and now she needs a home! She is at West MCACC, 2500 S. 27th Avenue, Phoenix AZ (602*506*2765).

This little girl was found in an abandoned car in the middle of nowhere; this is her story. Somehow this sweetie survived several days in an abandoned car. What was not told, was that whatever subhuman piece of garbage did was lock her in the car, put a brick on the gas peddle, then fired several bullets into the car. The car then took off and crashed into a tree. This dog survived all of this with no food, water, thrown into the windshield and dodged the bullets!

Please, don't let her die now! The staff just LOVES HER and have been pulling her off the list for days. She needs out NOW!"

Just look at her face...deep into her eyes...her face: shows a very happy, forgiving dog who will love anyone unconditionally forever.  I hope she finds that special home that will give her the same.

is she GSD?

LadyFrost - you know I was trying to figure that out. She looks GSD to me but then she also has that boxy pit head.... not a very good pic to tell her breed.

Dawulf...my thoughts exactly.....her hind leg and height do fit the GSD..but her head is squared off like a pit or ridgeback...if i was told it's a male GSD i would have probably believed it but for a female its too squared off...it could be just the angle of the photo.
never the less any word on her? anyone picked her up?

They have her listed as German Shepherd/Shar Pei mix. As of noon thirty yesterday, she was still there, but I haven't heard anything since.

I am in Nebraska, so there isn't much I can do from here. :/
