Wouldn't you be worried about the increased levels of calcium if using milk or yogurt?

We use fresh goats milk, fair less expensive than the evaporated milks.  We get it for $5.00 per gallon.

If I had access to fresh goat's milk I would use that.  I use warm water.

yogurt or Keifer.

More often than not I use Keifer though.

I,ve used warm water in the past and it was fine. Jeff said he always used evaporated goats milk so I thought I,d try it  this time round. I don,t know anyone local who has milking goats. I do know some old goats!!! hahaha

fresh goat milk right out of the goat if i have it.  frozen if i happen to have some in the freezer.  otherwise canned goat milk.  (you can buy from walmart or hyvee)  never ever give cows milk to pups.  goat milk is wonderful and gives beautiful coats, but cow milk causes them to scour - big time.
