I am all about working line german shepherds, as they should be a working breed!
Can anyone help me identify if the lines are from czech or old DDR or west german lines from the pedigrees posted here? I am new to the site and havn't quite figured out to differenetiate the two.

The West Germans have SV in front of their number, Czech have CMKU, East German DDR

Since there is no more East Germany, they are all SV.
If you want to know if a dog is from DDR bloodlines, you have to look back a few generations.
