I'm just numbed by this tragedy that keeps growing.

Heartbreaking. It was incredibly stupid to build nuclear power plants on the most active fault line on the planet AND just feet from the ocean where a tsunami would come from.
Considering their history with being nuked by us, I can't understand why they would go that route.
I'm sure it's just like here, the damn government does what it wants and the people have to pay the price.
