This is just a list of studs in my opinion that should be used, if you look at the list, there are only one or two dogs with hype behind their name. But the consensus is the majority of the studs on this list are not podium dogs. But they consistently produce strong pups with different females, and they should be considered. They are not in any particular order ...Zidane vom Haus Sevens, Xwaldo VH Antverpa, Kanto vom Firecatcher, Calimero von MakeRa, Jabina Fjolle, Gusti V Schwarzen Drachen, Volan von der Daelenberghutte, Zeno de Renaudloup, Xamm vom Sennertal, Kway vom Posthorn, Gismo Lacelles, Basko vom Haus Nixdorf, Eik vom Nordenstramm, Eick von der Berger Hochburg, and Enzo vom Digarah. I have personally seen progeny from all of the above mentioned studs with the exception of Eik vom Nordenstramm, and Calimero von MakeRa, but I have spoken with individuals that have offspring from these two studs and they have nothing but excellent things to say about them.

There are five on your list that I would consider strong producers, the others have bred only a few times, that's just not enough for me to consider them strong producers.

Stronger producers - what is the cirteria? Progeny on the field and competing?

BPWorks thank you for your opinion. I was not familiar with Gismo Lacelles. I quickly checked the the progeny for Gismo on this website. 1 breeding listed. I checked his littermates on this site and their production. Once again very limited information. What criteria did you use to compile your list? Gismo's pedigree is very interesting. I think it is very important to use strong dogs in ones breeding program. Not all podium dogs are the best producers or produce themselves. This is not a criticism of your post or list. Just a responce to it. Kyle

I'm going to go ahead and add Brad Pitt to the list of Top Studs. I don't think many could disagree with that.

rpaulson52 Although Brad is now a proven producer I don't think we have seen enough of his progeny to make that statement.

I don't know about what Gismo Lacelles produces but he is owned by a woman in my ScH club and he is one badass dog for sure.
