This is a 3 year old female. She is due in heat any day now. Photo is a cell phone picture of the xray at the vet's office, so poor quality. Any opinions? Already sent off to OFA so just a waiting game. Also, the actual xray was NOT as white as the pic shows. Sorry about the poor quality, again.

Also wanted to note: the vet feels the left hip (pictured as right hip) would have looked better if the leg had not been overly bent. However, he still felt it was a good enough xray to send to OFA.

No Worries about these, they look very good. What about the elbows x-rays?

Thanks! I think so, too. Although, I wish the left hip was as nice as the right, but I won't complain too much.

I don't do elbows until they get a passing OFA certification. Then, we go back in for elbows :-)

Ramage: Currently waiting on my 2 yr old male gsd's OFA results--wish I had thought to take a picture the other day at the vet. I think your dog's xrays look pretty good. My vet said my male had a perfect left hip and a pretty good looking right hip, but I'm still anxious about getting the results from OFA.

Good or certainly fair. I would think this would be approved by the OFA Foundation.
