I spoke with a woman this evening who is trying to give away a 12 wk old German Shepherd puppy on Craigslist. She's been flooding the list with ads for the past few weeks so I called to see why the desperation to get rid of the pup. She claims to be allergic to the dog but 5 minutes later was telling me about a black lab she also owns but says she is not allergic to that one. Only the GSD puppy. Is that possible? She described the pup's coat as being "weird" but addmitted she knows nothing about German Shepherds.
She also said she has 3 kids including a new baby so I'm thinking the pup is just ' too much for her to handle A friend of mine is thinking about paying the adoption fee so we can find this poor girl a forever home. The woman has papers for the pup but doesn't understand what any of the mean but she thinks the pup is showlines because she was told the sire was a show dog.

Don't give her ANY MONEY YOU can not afford. That is my advice.

I appreciate your concern, but never said I was giving the woman any money.

Don't be desperate. That is more advice. You aren't going to solve your problems banking on a pup.

BeeTree, I have no idea what you're talking about.

That, I find hard to believe. Or there could be some medical condition........

Yes that is possible, I had breathing problems around one dog in the past, but not around my Huskies. I'm an asthmatic who developed asthma from mold. Whether or not this person is telling the truth, honestly, I don't know.
