No
It does not work nearly as well as most other wormers or flea meds.
The best deworming is rotating the dewormers so that parasites where you live do not become immune to a dewormer.
Best dewormers to use in a rotation for dogs
Fenbendazole (treats giardia too)
Pyrantel Pamoate (mostly for roundworms)
Ivermectin (not for dogs/breeds specifically sensitive to ivermectin)
Praziquantel (for tapeworms)
Piperazine (mostly for roundworms)
Drontal and All-Wormer are good products, mixures of drugs
For fleas, best oral treatment is Capstar, best preventatives/treatments are Frontline and Advantage
There are other good ones too, but these I'm most experienced with and work the best for me.

I disagree. I work for a vet, and have my pets on Sentinel and have had no problems with it. Sentinel is mainly for heartworms though. It only sterilizes fleas, and does not kill them. You would need to have your pet on an additional flea medication to kill the fleas. Mine are on Vectra.

no... i doubt that!

Matthewop, what do you doubt?
Also, Capstar only kills fleas for about 24 hours. Then it is out of the system. It is intended to quickly kill any fleas that are currently on your pet, but it is not a monthly preventative.
As for Frontline and Advantage, they have been losing effectiveness with some animals. It seems fleas are building a resistance to it because it is so widely used and has been around for so long. There are newer (and more effective) products now on the market. For example, Comfortis, which is a once a month oral tablet. Also, Vectra, which is a topical treatment and kills both fleas and ticks.
