Than\ks  :  I want to buy some Rhode Island red laying hens and get a  FRIZZLE  rooster so I need to learn \how to do when, what and where.

Never had poultry .  BUT I love brown eggs.

YRAnd I can TRAIN the HENS and the ROOSTERS to sleep in an IGLOO like this one in Desota , Tex.

This is  PEANUT  who likes dogs and lives on the back patio and the Igloo is his home.

There are definitely show chickens and show chicken fanciers.  See the many varieties at any agricultural fair.  Personally, I would love to have a few Silkies.  I love the Banties though.  They are hard to keep in anywhere.  Personality, colour and independent!
