<sigh> Well, I guess we knew they had to be out there somewhere...but I didn't really expect to find them up here in the Northwoods.

And it will be next to impossible for the shepadoodle to be recognized by AKC (and thus turn up in the Westminster) It's taken ages for parent clubs of ancient purebreeds to get their real breeds recognized by AKC.
The breeder's information on her website speaks volumes about her huge lack of knowledge about dog breeds and breeding. She may mean well but she is very ignorant. Her site says the 3/4 poodle-1/4 GSD puppies are AKC and CKC registered, she is either lying or she falsified information to AKC. If AKC did issue papers for this litter and they discover it is mix breed litter they would likely suspend her from registering any dogs or litters with them.

Euroshep, I believe you misunderstood what she said:
3/4 AKC & CKC (double registerd) Standard Poodle-
& 1/4 Pure White AKC German Shepherd Pups born Nov. 10, 2010.
She is saying the MOTHER is a Standard Poodle, double registered with both AKC and CKC, and (I guess) the grandfather? was a AKC registered white GSD.
I've registered dogs with both AKC and CKC, and NO WAY would they allow these pups to be registered! Full documentation has to be provided, to prove the pup's purebred ancestry.

Though I don't have a GSD (but love the breed), I see my breed *constantly* being crossed with the poodle, and it disgusts me to no end. It has to be disheartening to true breeders of pure breeds.
{sigh....stupid just can't be fixed in some people}
