Red Sable

He's a cling-on!

I've always like the Bouvier, we have one down the road a bit from us.  Another breed, which has a similar look and temperament I think, is the Russian Terrier.

Great pic, thanks for sharing!

sjbo659,

Without knowing all the facts I replied to your original post with a question. I have noticed that you have been on the PDB since I have posted so I can only presume you have viewed your "threads" also to see what type of responses if any to your "threads".

A simple explanation could be possible but with no response then one wonders. Since you didn't for unknown reasons answer my previous questions maybe you can at least answer these new questions.

You came aboard Feb. 15th, 2011 as a Bouvier owner, and you spoke of training your dogs. Numerous threads will show your dogs either training or youtube videos of training. Then the above photo of a Bouvier doing some awesome bite work.

I could have PMed you but my thoughts are that if you are putting the picture out on the PDB for the members to see, and you talk of the training that your Bouviers have then possibly you are attempting to tell us that this dog is yours? And since I had asked and you did not reply then I began to wonder if that was the case.

So I am asking point blank.... Are you saying this dog is yours? Because he is not. This is "ROCK" the dog I have spoken about in a couple of other threads, one being with "HUNTER". So I wonder why? Maybe you can give me an explanation now?

Alboe, I never said he was my dog not infered it. A friend sent me this photo a while back. I only posted it so others could enjoy it as well. Most of the post here have been about GSD's and most are not inclined to think Bouviers are as good. I thought this was great pic. However the dog in the photo could be a twin to one of mine and thats as close as it comes. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression. Steve

No problem. That's why I asked. That is "ROCK" one of two, of the most civilest dogs I have seen with my own eyes. At six mos that boy bit me, (my fault) bit three fingers. It was pretty bad. And a few years ago got the decoys' ring finger. Only thing that saved the finger from being swallowed was the ring.

That boy would destroy the kennels, jump and jump and just keep jumping in his kennel. He would get chest high over  the top of the kennel. We put a top on it and he would jump up and chomp and just hang there with his teeth on/in the top of the kennels in his mouth. for long periods also. He chewed through the electric  water bowl heater, elecricity on. Just a bad-ass!

That dog is awesome though. Thanks for the explanation.
