Has anyone ever heard of a tobacco detector dog. I have have an itch to teach train Cam for some type of detection work. I have trained him to passive alert on his ball. He loves it. I would like to transition to some type of substance. I would love to do narcotics but I cannot afford Pseudos.
Just curious has this ever been done, or if tobacco detection was ever utilized?

Another thing to think about is a dog that detects low blood glucose.
I start my own dogs on gun powder.

Keep in mind that like drugs there are many types of tobacco to train with, East Indian Chewing tobacco, counterfeit from China & Russia, Sisha/Nacla -hookah pipe tobacco mixed with fruit scents and raw leaf tobacco to name a few.
