Its nice to see that Im not the only one that his this "issue" ;-)

rest in a place that's their own....They all like to slobber in your ear.

I think it depends on the male, in the photo I posted the dog on the far right is Mac, my CdH male. And the "worst" of the bunch in terms of cuddling, he loves to have contact, lay his head across my leg/foot, on my lap, etc. But I have had other males that didn't. Actually the dog in the back, Cali (female) is the least cuddly of the dogs I own, I'm kind of surprised she's in the photo now that I think about it, normally when other dogs come on the bed or couch she's out of there. Sleeps on my bed each night, but only if I don't touch her LOL Then she growls and gets down.
