Old Czech Bloodlines vs. New Czech Bloodlines...This is the question...?
This is something I just heard about...that I'd never heard before...
What's the DEAL?

for me the only czech bloodlines are the ones that missed out on 40 years of commercial and sport breeding
all the others they can keep ,for me
not saying they dont breed good dogs now , but not allways what I like , and bloodlines/type of dogs are available worldwide
I dont need to go to czech to find me a preymonster , or a javir/bomber or ellute pup

Duke,
Before the Grimm reaper takes my old largess off to heaven.
I plan to make a trip to Mesa Arizona and see Prager Hans.
I think he is of the old ZPS lines. I bred Boarder patrol Rottweilers
from east Germany, and let me tell you what. You do have to know the
dogs in those old pedigree very well or you end up with monsters,
I bred some of the best Rottweiler's I have ever seen off the East German
boarder patrol lines. They were always bred high on courage. And very lean
with rock hard muscle.
This is a DDR dog that shows up alot in ZPS CZ Dogs.
I have translated his kor report for you in english.
Notice the last line please. This dogs DOB is 1966
Also looks like the GSD I had in 1964. But mine was a little
more leanerer. And a sable....Very good.
According to water meters: Medium, medium powerful male with good head and
Expression with normal angle settings fixed and closed the
Before - and hindquarters and good speed with powerful demand
Schub. Essentially reserved with sufficient sharpness and
Hardness. Kör. 5533 / 33. -Kör. 5533 / 32 end of kor report.....
A Kor report is not a dog show... the dog is tested to be sound
under pressure on the field....
Soft, hard, and sharp....
Ex vom Riedstern .....

Hello Hans,
Mesa Arizona will be the future location of the
World Working Dog Symposium. It will take place once a year.
People from all over the world who have achieved top level in
competition, training and breeding . This includes Military, Dog Sports,
and Police canine specialist . Combined will be a World Expo....
Essentially reserved with sufficient sharpness and
Hardness......the balance
I have had dogs with little or no prey drive that were very hard and sharp.
This was with my Rottweilers. My GSD, and Malinois all had tons of prey
drive. I find my self always going back though to the standard of each breed
as far as temperament....Because a dog has a lot of prey does not mean
they don't have hardness, or defence drive...At least with a well bred Malinois.
I have the best German and Dutch lines in my Females (sisters).
I have been looking at...these 2 dogs from Belgium, as possible sires
to keep the balance and stability......

http://www.working-dog.eu/dogs-details/56159/Eriem-van-het-Beenhouwerke
They are foundation NVBK dogs....old bloodlines for Malinois.
My reason for breeding will be to produce dogs for Belgium ring here in
the USA....I don't look at it as an infusion as much as a perfect match.
The nic or magic cross is what I always look for...Because genetics have to get
along and behave....for balance. I don't know that much about ZPS and I am glad
you take the time to educate people...Also you stand behind what you say and breed.
Very good.
