Did UScA ever change their by-laws to allow members to be a part of other organizations? I remember they proposed the change, but did it ever happen? Thanks

by TessJ10 on 11 February 2011 - 21:02

The change was proposed and did not pass, so the prohibition about belong to "competing GSD organizations" still exists.

Thanks Tess! I know they have lost a lot of members and clubs behind it , so I was wondering about the outcome of the vote. Thanks

Adultery.....in the eye's of UScA.........You serve one and one alone....it's for life.

Not saying it is right or wrong.....just think it does not matter. The USA needs to
compete on a world class level. With who ever they have, The club at this point
does not matter.

Ivan Balabanov and his team, won the World FCI champion for the USA. This was
much harder to do than winning  the WUSV.....He made us all very proud....
Going up against the best German team and handing their butts to them. In Italy.

Is the SV considered a competing GSD organization or a parent organization?

The amendment limits membership only to 'competing' organizations within the US.

44+% of the membership attending the general meeting voted to rescind the "Johannes Amendment"
officers of USA considered that margin a "vote of confidence"

Of course they did. Lida
