do they get taken down once the dog is sold? I saw my dream dog on it but whe n i looked at the date the dog was put on was october 8th!!! so i am thinking classifieds keep getting advertised even when the dog has been sold? WOW WHAT A WAY TO GET OUR HOPES Up!!!!

The classifieds either need to be removed by the original poster, or they expire in a certain time frame. Contact them, the economy sucks right now, chances are the dog may still be available.

I just went and checked like I was entering a new ad. A few options to choose from, up to one-year. Most times I see the ad changed to "sold" for a few days before the poster removes it.
