he woke the wife regarding the scuffle at 5am  and then stabbed the dog to death 5 hours later?  who called the police?  yes the dog is more important than this fool

I am the last person to defend someone being cruel to an animal, but really, a dal/bulldog mix? (Also known as a "bullmation", and yes, I've seen them). That has crazy written all over it.

It almost sounds like he got bit, then hours later stabbed the dog. Will be interesting to see more facts come out.

The way it is written sounds strange but what it is saying is that the wife told the police at 10:00 on the 31st. The important info is the sentence

" She said Laba awakened her about 5 a.m. and said he defended himself with a kitchen knife after the dog attacked him." 

So he told her at 5:00AM what had happened. Funny how so many people can read the same thing and not see the same thing.
