Give the moderators a break.

I would love to invite every member to try this for one day, one week or one month.

I used to ref all kinds of kids sports and when the crowd got on me I had no problem turning around and asking anyone want to try this. I never had one taker and after a few times people shut up.

What about a feedback so the mods can rate the members.

If you have a problem with the mods bring it to me.

Beetree:  THe mods know that lies and thornes getting posted may cause a big backlash..After all , some of the respectful breeders do present their facts in a nice manner..others throw tantrums and come on here as someone they are not and try to show non facts.  THE mods have helped me throw a bus full of nasties in the garbage the minute they hit here.   I too wish there was a civil way to get the truth out..  LIKE VeronicaK9 said :  WHERE there is smoke there is fire.    MODS are doing the best to keep the FIRE from exploding as was done early in the LIPIN thread.

THANKS german shepherd dog. All some people want is  PROOF!

I would be happy to give you all a long holiday. You keep responses limited, that is true. Was that a goaL?

LOL oh we are back to childsplay I see.

Modulus Rex moderator comment: Unfortunately you are correct, 4-pack.  We removed four other threads attacking site administration before taking this action, so as you can see we did not act hastily.

In another thread, Moderator German shepherd dog respectfully asked membership to give us time to re-write the Terms of Service to allow more open dialogue than the current TOS permits.  On behalf of Oli and the other moderators, I renew that request.

Moderators,
We all due respect, It is hard to understand what the procedure is for posting and disipline on this forum.....

A couple weeks ago I tried to handle, IN A VERY CIVIL manner, a situation that was occuring between myself and another poster. I was told that I should not try to do the job of a moderator, that I should notify a mod in a PM and let the Mod take care of it..... Most recently there was a similar situation in the making with the same person... This time I PM'd a moderator and have yet to hear from that moderator concerning that PM. I have not even been acknowledged that the PM was read.....In a bvery recent thread,  I noticed that a moderator ironically posted to a statement saying that a moderator wasn't going to take sides because one poster doesn't like another poster whether mods are addressed in a PM or addressed on the public message board.....

So my question is, why tell us to seek help from Moderrators in PM's if they,  are going to assume they are being asked to take sides....Its so very confusing...

Maybe with time it can all be worked out..

You each presented your side.  Take it to PM's.  - Moderator Wagging

Modulus Rex moderator comment: It's actually not confusing at all.  As I understand it, you PMed another moderator demanding that we stop a certain member from addressing you on the messageboard.  You also posted to that member to stop responding to you.  I then posted that it was not official policy to order members not to post to each other or to not comment on others' posts, nor was it official policy to respond to PMs requesting that we do this.

That is a significantly different circumstance than dealing with commercial disputes or attacks upon someone's business reputation, which are barred by the Terms of Service.  If someone attacks your business, then you should PM a mod.  If someone disagrees with you, then you need to handle it yourself.
