The wind is blowing so hard here I can,t get the heat above 60 in trailer... Got extra kerosene... water in big jugs and two jars of peanut butter and bread to eat... Wife is stuck at the Nursing home where she works till they lift the blizzard warning ... How is everyone doing.

Governor declared a state of emergency here in Missouri. Activated National Guard. While mid MO. received blizzard conditions, which closed interstate 70 from kansas city to 40 miles west of St. Louis, St. Louis itself and south saw only sleet!

got 3 dogs in here to cuddle and the 2 out in the kennels have the weather doors down and sealed and I put 2 bales of shavings in each kennel so they have about a foot of fresh dry shavings to burrow into.

I dunno what you guys are talking about, it's blue skys and warm enough. I took the baby in the stroller for a walk with the dog. Looks like a lovely spring day here.

Mid 50s here, rain is gone now.......I'd say we're doing good here.
