I,ve got a old Dogtra that I,m thinking of replacing any advise on good collars?

I use a Dogtra 1700 - it's older though and so now there may be replacements for this one - but it works great and I like it.

I use the Tritronic Pro 500 series....LOVE it!

Martin Systems, IMO, the ferrari of e-collars made in Belgium.  You can also get the finger kick which allows hands free operation.  They thought of it all when they made the lastest models of this collar.

you can get them through www.dcmetrok9.com

Bob,
I'm not familiar with the Martin mentioned above, but, I think that you will find the Tri-tronics are a step up from the Dogtra. Also a step up in price.

Martin system PT3000 with double receiver (micro) and fingerkick it doesn`t get any better my former experience: DTsystems Dogtra tritronics(both sportman and pro500g2)

Dogtra 100% i have had nothing but bad luck out of the TriTronics. The batteries just do not hold up and seems if you do not use them often you will have to replace the incased battery. $100 plus . The Dogtra never had problems I a\have 3 of them and 2 of them I use for retriever training and even in salt water and they are great .
